About me

My name is Amir Leventer and I live in Kfar Saba,Israel.I've just completed my M.Sc in the Technion  in Electrical Eng. I have completed my BSc. in Electrical Eng. at the same Institue in 1996. My research topic was "On Bit-Rate Control in Video Coding". I'm currently working at BigBand Networks as an algorithm team leader  where I deal with many interesting issues in Compressed Video, DSP implemntations, FPGA architectures and more.  

My wife Ifat  is a Technion graduate as well. She has completed BSc. in both Computer Science and Industrial & Management Eng. Ifat is currently working in Radware.

Our lovely firstborn baby girl called Ya'ara.

I am currently a road & mountain biker, a triathlete and a runner. I am a member of the Ayalot team and train on my lovely Pinarello Suprise bike with the best team in Israel. My competition results and PBs can be found in the site as well. I love winter skiing and have been in some of the best resorts in Europe. Travelling and trekking are my favorites and I enjoy  Math & algortihms. Finance and Invesments are my choice for the spare time.
