Announcements:


  • 18.4.2012 On 16.5.2012 studies at the Technion end at 18:30 due to Yom HaStudent. As a result, the Image Processing lecture on 16.5.2012 will not be held.

  • The exam (40% of the final grade) is scheduled for June 20th, 2012 (time of lecture). Example of exams (PDF files) are available here , here, and here (English).

  • To select a topic for the assignments (60% of the final grade), please email a message to: ipreq@vision.technion.ac.il, and include the requested topic number in the "Subject:" line of your email as follows: "IP Request - *.* your name" where *.* is your requested topic number, such as 2.k or 10.z. For example, IP Request - 2.k John Smith . The system ignores the body of the message. Please make sure your mailer sends out your name in the "From:" line to qualify.

  • You can view the status of all the requests here, including your message once submitted (allow 1-2 minutes for the system to update). The requests are accepted in the order they are received by our system. Please do not select a topic that had been taken already. If you try to re-check this link, please make sure your browser does refresh the display.

  • If you wish to change your topic, simply email a new request to the same address. We will ignore previous requests coming from the same person (for archival reasons your old request is not deleted from the list, however, it will be considered cancelled, and thus available to other students who may choose it).

  • Student presentations (approx. 10 minutes each) are scheduled for June 13th and June 27th, 2012 (time of lecture).

  • When your final work is ready, please email your PDF or PS file (attached) to: ipsub@vision.technion.ac.il. The name of the file should be *_*.pdf or *_*.ps, where *_* is your paper number. E.g., 2_k.pdf or 2_k.ps . The "Subject:" line should read "IP Submission - *.* your-name" where *.* is your topic number. For example, IP Submission - 2.k John Smith . Please do not send a WORD file due to inconsistencies in versions. The final work could be written in Hebrew or English, preferably limited to 10-15 pages. Deadline for submission of final works - July 11th, 2012.
